After a shaky week 1, week 2 of the College Football season was good to me. I struggled all week on which picks I wanted to double down on, but was able to go 3-0 on the week and am now 8-4 on the year. Here’s how I fared over Week 2:

  • Oregon upset Ohio State
  • Iowa crushed Iowa State
  • Liberty pulled out the win over Troy

Week 3 Bets:

Maryland -7.5 over Illinois: Illinois has been absolute trash this year (yes, I know I bet on them twice this season). I love Maryland to win this game by 2 scores. Maryland already has an impressive win over West Virginia, Illinois should be an easy win and easy for them to cover the points.

Penn State -4.5 over Auburn: Penn State tends to dominate in White Out games. With how they have looked so far this season, they will extend the win streak to 3 and beat Auburn by at least one score. PSU’s defense has been playing lights out and their d-line will force Bo Nix to make mistakes.  “SEC speed” isn’t real – under a touchdown spread is easy money.

Fresno State +11.5 against UCLA: In my opinion, UCLA is overrated and doesn’t deserve to be ranked so high, so early. Fresno State played Oregon extremely well and stayed close with them. Fresno State shouldn’t win by any means, but UCLA will keep this one close and Fresno will cover the spread.

Let’s add to our winning streak to this weekend! Best of luck to everyone who’s hammering my bets.
