After another great week of college football, I’m a solid 11-7 on the year which isn’t amazing, but we are over .500 which is good enough for me. Last week was an exciting week of CFB, which I unfortunately missed due to being in State College, PA for the PSU/Indiana game. Luck was on my side with PSU geting the win and me going 2-1 on my locks of the week. Here’s a recap of last week in case you aren’t following along:

  • L: Arkansas failed to cover +18.5 against Georgia
  • W: Arizona State got their statement win over UCLA by a few scores
  • W: Cincinnati showed why they belong in the CFB playoff conversation with a win over Notre Dame

Week 6 Bets:

Michigan State Moneyline over Rutgers: Michigan State might not be the top 25 team that they are currently labeled, BUT they are indeed a team that is better than Rutgers. No reason why MSU should lose to Rutgers this weekend, hammer them.

Georgia -14.5 over Auburn: To my honest surprise, Georgia beat the life out of Arkansas last weekend. I took Arkansas to cover the 18.5+ points, but undoubtedly lost. Arkansas is a much better team than Auburn, so Georgia giving up less points just makes too much sense. If Georgia really is the best team in the nation, they need to show it this week and I think they will try. Dawgs by at least 3 scores.

Wake Forest Moneyline over Syracuse: Last time I bet on a team to beat Syracuse, they lost….but Wake Forest has been playing electric football and let’s face it, it’s not like I’m actually bad luck for these CFB teams. Wake Forest is just the much better team and should pick up the win this weekend.
