Last week was the first College Football Playoff Committee rankings of the year. All of us at Walk-On Redshirts put our rankings together and actually agreed with the committee on our top 4 teams, although we had Georgia ranked over Ohio State…which based on how Georgia played against Tennessee, we were correct on that ranking. Tennessee, Ohio State, Georgia, and Clemson were the top 4 teams selected by the committee. Who will the CFP select in their top 4 tonight? Will our rankings match theirs tonight as well? Who deserves to be in the College Football Top 4 tonight? 4 teams will be happy…the rest will be upset with how the committee votes.

This week, 8 of us all ranked our top 8 teams and points were given based on where each team was ranked. Each of our top ranked teams received 8 votes, while our 8th ranked team received 1 vote. Based on our total votes, our top 4 teams would be; 1. Georgia. 2. Ohio State. 3. Michigan. 4. TCU. Below is the full breakdown of our voting.

  1. Georgia: 64
  2. Ohio State: 51
  3. Michigan: 51
  4. TCU: 42
  5. Tennessee: 32
  6. Oregon: 21
  7. LSU: 12
  8. USC: 9
  9. UCLA: 3
  10. Alabama: 2
  11. Clemson: 1

Did we get our consensus top 4 right? Who should the committee have in their top 4 tonight?
