My goodness…I woke up and forgot it was finally November, but November 1st only means one thing…TUESDAY NIGHT MACTION!!! We’ve waited 11 weeks to watch college football on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and we’ve finally made it to one of the most beautiful times of the year.

Where To Watch: If you’re like me who doesn’t have cable, you can watch both MACtion games on StreamEast here

Games: The MAC is giving us an absolute treat for the first Tuesday Night MACtion of the year with two great matchups between Ball State vs. Kent State and Buffalo vs. Ohio.

Ball State vs. Kent State: 7 p.m. EST:

Overview: MACtion football finally returns tonight when the Ball State Cardinals face the Kent State Golden Flashes at 7:00 pm EST. The Cardinals are looking to get back on track after dropping their last game to Eastern Michigan at home. Kent State, meanwhile, is looking to get a winning streak rolling after taking down Akron, 33-27, its last time out, and keeping its rivalry Wagon Wheel in Kent for a fourth straight season. The Flashes are 3-5 on the year with all three wins coming at home, while they have yet to win a single game on the road.

Bets & Predictions: Ball State is a touchdown underdog here against a Kent State team that isn’t anything special. I like Ball State to pull off the upset in a high-scoring game. I’ll be betting on the Ball State money line, Ball State +7, and over 62.5 total points. Give me Ball State to win 45-38.

Buffalo vs. Ohio: 7:30 p.m. EST

Overview: A great match-up between the top 2 teams in the MAC EAST. Both teams are 5-3 and are both riding 3+ game win streaks. Buffalo is undefeated in conference play so far this season and has been a team full of DAWGS all year. Not only are they in first place in the MAC, but they have also covered the spread in every game to date. While Ohio does share the same record with Buffalo at 5-3, they do have 1 loss to MAC opponent, Kent State.

Bets & Predictions: I like Buffalo to extend their win streak, but I like Ohio to cover the +3 spread. With How Ohio has played their last few games, it should be a lower-scoring game and will come down to those final few points. I also like the under to hit at under 59.5 points. Both of these teams find comfort in running the ball, so expect the score to not go over 50-55. I like Buffalo to win 20-18 with a late rushing touchdown to take the lead.
