Week 9 gave us a solid bounce back performance as we climbed to 53rd with 99 points, but still miles behind the weekly winner who posted a monster 179.9. Our lineup had mixed results. Kansas delivered just 12 rushing points and Illinois stumbled with only 10 through the air, but Texas A&M’s defense absolutely did their job with a strong 27 point outing. Week 10 brings another chance to climb the leaderboard and cash in the $100 prize. As always, download the Squad Blitz app and be sure to select Walk On Redshirts as your referral. Let’s build the lineup that gets us into that top tier this week.

Passing

Oklahoma ($195)
Oklahoma is going against one of the worst passing defenses in the country this weekend. We still do not know how healthy John Mateer is, but it is safe to assume he is getting healthier each week. Oklahoma’s passing attack has not looked as strong since his injury, but this is the perfect get right game for him. Tennessee’s passing defense ranks 125th in the country. There are only 136 teams. Tennessee is expected to get Jermond McCoy back at corner, which could make an impact, but the value is too great here when going against one of the worst passing defenses in the nation.

Miami FL ($200)
Do I really trust Carson Beck? No, not at all. He threw four interceptions the last time we saw him. Louisville has the 21st-best passing defense in the country, and now he gets to face the 135th-best passing defense (remember, there are only 136 teams). SMU’s passing defense is downright terrible, and Miami has Malachi Toney on their sideline. Even if Beck struggles, he just has to find Toney and I am confident they will move the ball through the air. It is hard to pass up on a team playing the second-worst pass defense in the country.

Rushing

Cincinnati ($190)
Our options for the rushing attack were more limited, so we had to dig a little deeper into our thought process. Cincinnati has a three-headed rushing attack with Tawee Walker, Evan Pryor, and Brendan Sorsby. Sorsby is lethal in the red zone with his legs and will help get us extra scores when needed. Pryor is currently averaging over 7 yards per carry and could be in for a big day against Utah. If Cincinnati is going to win this weekend, it feels like they will need to establish a consistent rushing attack.

Vanderbilt ($190)
I will be honest, Vanderbilt might not be the smartest move this weekend, but I like them the most from our available options. We are relying on Diego Pavia and Sedrick Alexander to propel Vanderbilt to a victory over Texas. The two combined for just 47 rushing yards, while Makhilyn Young led the way with 86 yards (80 came on one carry). Texas is one of the best rushing defenses in the country. We may not get a lot of yards, but we are hoping they punch in scores on the ground when the opportunities come.

Defense

Ohio State ($210)
Here is our anchor pick for the weekend. Ohio State is hosting Penn State, who will have a backup quarterback and an interim head coach. Andy Kotelnicki has not been a good offensive coordinator so far this year, and now he needs to try and score points with a quarterback who has one start under his belt. Ohio State is at home and top 10 in just about every defensive category this season. I expect Ethan Grunkemeyer to throw at least one interception and Penn State to score no more than 13 points this weekend.

Recap
Passing: Oklahoma ($195), Miami FL ($200)
Rushing: Cincinnati ($190), Vanderbilt ($190)
Defense: Ohio State ($210)
Total: $985

With a favorable slate of matchups and strong value at each position, this Week 10 lineup gives us a realistic shot to crack the top of the leaderboard. Ohio State anchors our team with a dominant defensive advantage, while Oklahoma, Miami, Cincinnati, and Vanderbilt each face exploitable weaknesses. Let’s make a move this week and chase that $100 prize.
