Passing

Baylor ($205) – Baylor was an easy choice for a passing attack. Sawyer Robertson is one of the better passers in the country, leading an offense that ranks third nationally in passing yards per game. The Bears are averaging 350 yards per game and sit second in passing touchdowns with 17. This week they face Kansas State, which ranks 37th in passing yards allowed per game at 181. The Wildcats have not seen a passing attack like Baylor, so this should be a strong matchup where Robertson can put up solid points.

Boston College ($200) – Did you know Boston College ranks fourth in the country in passing yards per game? The Eagles average 344 yards per game behind Dylan Lonergan. He struggled in his last outing against Cal, throwing for fewer than 200 yards with no touchdowns, but this is a prime bounce-back opportunity. Pitt has one of the worst passing defenses in the country, ranking 117th in completion percentage allowed and 91st in passing yards allowed. Even if Boston College does not win, Lonergan is set up for a strong performance.

Rushing

Navy ($215) – I nearly picked both Navy and Air Force, but since they face each other I decided to ride with Navy. The possessions will be limited in this triple-option battle, so I am taking the team expected to win. Navy has the number one rushing attack in the country at 350 yards per game. Blake Horvath had a slow start but has 340 rushing yards and five touchdowns over his last three games. This will be his final matchup against Air Force, and I expect a standout performance. The Falcons rank 91st nationally against the run, allowing nearly five yards per carry and over 160 yards per game. It is tough to fade the best rushing attack in the nation.

Michigan ($190) – This is the risky pick. Michigan boasts one of the best rushing attacks in the country, averaging more than 250 yards per game. Justice Haynes has been a breakout star since transferring from Alabama, averaging more than eight yards per carry and topping 100 yards in each of his first four games. Jordan Marshall has also been effective, while quarterback Bryce Underwood has added 180 rushing yards over the last two games. The challenge is Wisconsin’s defense, which ranks first nationally against the run, allowing just 50 yards per game and two yards per carry. Still, Michigan’s offensive line is elite, and Wisconsin has not yet faced a rushing attack of this caliber.

Defense

Georgia ($185) – Georgia faces Kentucky, and Kentucky’s offense has been rough. The Wildcats rank 80th in scoring offense, 99th in total offense, 100th in turnover margin, and 122nd in passing offense. Their only strength is a rushing attack that sits 67th nationally, averaging 4.5 yards per carry. Georgia’s defense is loaded with talent and will be at home as a three-touchdown favorite. This is great value for a unit that should have little trouble shutting down Kentucky.

Recap

Passing: Baylor ($205), Boston College ($200)
Rushing: Navy ($215), Michigan ($190)
Defense: Georgia ($185)
Total: $995

This lineup balances high-powered passing games with two of the nation’s strongest rushing attacks and a defense set up for success. Baylor and Boston College should deliver plenty of yards through the air, while Navy’s triple option and Michigan’s physical ground game give us upside on the ground. Georgia’s defense rounds things out with a favorable matchup against a struggling Kentucky offense. With $995 of our 1000 Squad Blitz Bucks in play, this roster has the potential to compete for the top spot and bring home the Ban Fall Weddings T-Shirt.
